The map shows the layout of the former RAF station, with its C-type hangers (large orange rectangles), barrack blocks (coloured yellow) and administrative buildings & workshops (coloured purple). As you can see, the Heritage Room is located adjacent to a road running in an east-west direction through the NCC site.The building to the right of the Heritage Room is the National Construction College's recreational club, which was formerly the RAF officers mess.
