A Gloster Gladiator of 521 (Met) Squadron

521 Squadron operated from Docking during 1943 and 1944 with a wide range of aircraft types, including Gloster Gladiators (for local reconnaissance), Blenheims, Hampdens, Hudsons and Venturas (for long-range sorties across the North Sea). The photograph shows one of Docking's Gladiators being used as a clothes line.
